This is an exchange program for a pair (2 pcs) of mechanical cam adjuster SPROCKETS with 4 new O-Rings, 2 springs, and 2 spring washers for the B6 B7 S4 platform. When sending in Core’s, please do not send in the entire assembled adjuster. These are used sprockets that have have been re-machined to provide a new life cycle at a fraction of the price of new OEM units or an aftermarket sprocket option. We run the sprockets through a CNC program and re-machine a new pin bore. Simply reposition the inner cam of the adjuster to be used with the new pin bore. The pin bores are precisely machined to include a deeper oil galley leading to the bore, bore & galley taper, bore pin ridge, and lip chamfer to replicate what Audi designed.
We stock re-machined sprockets and they are ready to ship. There is a $150 core deposit for your current pair (2) of sprockets which will be refunded once they are received. This core deposit can be bypassed by sending in your sprockets ahead of time, and we will ship out a re-machined set once yours are received. Core deposits will only be valid for 30 days after delivery of the new sprockets.
It is necessary to purchase the item before sending us your sprockets in order to guarantee a in-stock pair being reserved.
*NOTE: It is essential to confirm your mechanical adjuster assembly is in the LOCKED position with performing your final install prior to setting the timing.
