The little stretch that is present is well within the range of what tensioners can compensate for. The skirts are coated to ensure a smooth operation with proper oil retention. Piston pin's are upgraded to Diamond's H13 material to handle whatever you throw at them. Custom pin oiling channels are added into the piston design to keep things running smooth. Gas porting has been added to the upper 1st Ringland so that compression helps create a tighter ring seal. The pistons replicate Audi's bank specific offset pin design for operation that does not exceed factory noise levels. Each piston kit includes 3 pistons for bank 1 and 3 for bank 2. Compression height is modified to work both with customers not resurfacing their engine block, and those resurfacing so that proper clearance remains between piston and cylinder head. Compression ratio is set to 11.2:1 factory spec so that this piston will work perfect on all OTS tunes available. Ring packs used work on the factory iron sleeves as well as aftermarket iron sleeves such as our sleeving option.
