Tired of playing the guessing game on what components to install in your engine to handle more power? Let us help! Our forged internal kits are a perfect way to stop worrying about what may or may not work. All packages come with JE Pistons Package, AMTuned Saenz manufactured connecting rods awith ARP hardware, and King XP series bearings. AMTuned recommends this package to be used with Sleeved engine blocks, but they can also be used on the factory Alusil bores. Minimum bore spec is 3.3267" (84.5mm) for these pistons. We have tried various bore sizes on these in the 4.2 engines for mild to wild boost builds and have seen that you will start to notice cold start piston slap when surpassing 3.3285" bore size. AMTuned does not accept any liability for non in house engine builds. A professional engine builder is highly recommended.

AMTuned has released our H-Beam connecting rod manufactured by Saenz Performance. They are created with the latest FEA technology to ensure strength and reduce weight. We have designed these connecting rods and piston package to handle 2,000HP! (250HP per piston/rod). Designed to accept 9k rpm. We know it will be a bit of time to see if anyone can actually achieve those numbers on this platform, but wanted to make sure our components are up for the challenge.

Components Included:

  • AMTuned Design JE Piston 9.5:1 CR, 2618 Alloy, 93 Series Pins, Gas Nitride Ring Package, Tuff Coat Skirt Coating
  • AMTuned 4340 Saenz Connecting Rod's w/ ARP 2000 Hardware
  • King XP Series Bearings (see comments below)

MPORTANT: There is a strict 30% restocking fee on canceled orders for this product regardless of in stock status. King bearings has many revisions of these bearings which have different bearing tang locations based on production year runs. Because of this we cannot verify which production year run will be included in your set. Some bearings will drop right in to the con-rod tang positions, Some will not have any bearing tangs on them, and some may need to file down 1/2 of the bearing tangs. Bearing tangs on these pinch bearings are only there for easier install and have zero effect on proper operation of your engine. If you have never filed down a bearing tang, we can walk you through it!
