Following the success of the other Audi platform engine builds we offer, we are excited to now offer Audi/Lamborghini 5.2 rebuilds. All of our stage rebuilds include a sleeved block. Not thrilled about removing your engine and reinstalling it? Contact us for a turn key rebuild solution.
Customers must establish contact prior to shipping and purchase the desired engine rebuild stage in full before work begins. Shipping to or from our facility is not included. Local drop off and pick-up is available free of charge. Never shipped an engine? Let us help guide you through the process! Long blocks are to be delivered to us without accessories. Accessories include: Oil Filter Housing, Water Pump, Power Steering Pump, A/C Compressor, Alternator & Bracket, Oil Cooler, Exhaust Manifolds, Engine Mounts, Knock Sensors, Intake Manifold, Coil Packs, Injectors and Cam Sensors. Spark plugs can be left in the engine, but rebuilds will not include spark plugs.
We offer a 12 month unlimited miles warranty for any of our stage engine builds against craftsmanship. Our warranty does not cover any labor or parts to install/remove the engine from the vehicle or transportation to/from our facility. All warranty work is only available at our facility.
We reuse your camshaft phasers and are not liable for faulty phasers. Camshaft phaser malfunction is extremely rare. If you vehicle had phaser issues, be sure to notify us so that we can replace them at an additional cost. Engines must be shipped directly to our facility at the following address. Purchase and tracking needs to be completed and sent to AMTuned prior to engine arrival.

AMTuned Engine STAGE 0 Sleeved: Refreshed 5.2L Timed & Sealed Long Block. Turn around time is about 14 weeks
- Diamond Piston replacement factory compression pistons.
- Fully sleeved engine block utilizing LA Sleeve AMTuned spec sleeves. Diamond hone finish with a plateau final hone for expedited break in.
- Final bore finishing with torque plate.
- Complete timing service utilizing OEM, OE, & aftermarket parts
- Cylinder head refresh including cleaning and inspection. Replacement items include new guides, upgraded valve guide seals, and gaskets. Valves will be tested to ensure they are true, replacement valves will be invoiced as needed. Cylinder head mating surface will be skimmed to ensure optimal sealing during install. Valve seats will be cut, and assembled heads are pressure tested.

- New one time use hardware
- Engine block refresh including cleaning. Replacement items include main bearings, connecting rod bearings, piston rings, lower engine o-rings, and all new gaskets / seals.
AMTuned Engine Stage 1 Sleeved: Turn around time is about 14 weeks for sleeved rebuilds. Includes everything in our Stage 0 package with the addition of:

AMTuned Engine Stage 2 Sleeved: Turn around time is 16-20 weeks after inspection. Includes everything in our Stage 0 package with the addition of:
- Diamond Piston Low Compression 10.0:1 Pistons

- Supertech Performance Valves
- Supertech Performance Valve Spring Package
- Fully Balanced Rotating Assembly
- ARP 625+ Head Stud Package
